Kinstellar supports OECD
Kinstellar is supporting the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in the course of its on-going review of the Ukrainian corporate governance regulations and practices of state-owned enterprises (SOEs) and benchmarking them against the OECD Guidelines on the Corporate Governance of SOEs. The review is being performed at the request of the Ukrainian government with the objective to determine whether Ukraine is an adherent to this instrument. It is financially supported by the Government of Norway.
Kinstellar has been assisting the OECD with its analysis of Ukraine’s legal framework applicable to SOEs and on-going reforms, including the most recent legislative proposals bearing on corporate governance.
The preliminary results of the Ukraine SOEs Review were discussed, in the presence of a delegation from Ukraine, on 17 March 2021 at a virtual meeting of the OECD Working Party on State Ownership and Privatisation Practices. The event involved representatives of its 37 OECD member states and partners.
Kinstellar continues to support the OECD until finalisation of the review. Kinstellar’s Kyiv team is led by Olena Kuchynska, managing partner, with contributions from Julia Palaida, associate.Posted in News
