Ilyashev & Partners initiates anti-dumping investigation into fitting imports from Turkey and China

Ilyashev & Partners’ international trade team, headed by partner Olena Omelchenko, representing Rozma Trading House LLC, a domestic manufacturer, initiated an antidumping investigation into imports of water supply and heating system fittings from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Turkey to Ukraine.

Following the review of the complaint filed by the Ukrainian producer, the Interdepartmental Commission on International Trade, by its Decision No. AD-569/2024/441-01 dated 15 October 2024, initiated an anti-dumping investigation into the imports to Ukraine of goods from the People’s Republic of China and the Republic of Turkey, having the following description: polypropylene pipe fittings (including copper alloy ones) and copper alloy fittings with polypropylene for water supply and heating systems, classified under the Ukrainian Classification of Goods for Foreign Economic Activity (UCGFEA) codes 3917 40 00 90, 7412 20 00 00.

The anti-dumping investigation may result in an anti-dumping duty being imposed on imports of water supply and heating systems fittings from Turkey and China to restore fair competition and protect domestic manufacturers. Anti-dumping investigations can take up to 12 months.

Rozma Trading House LLC is a Ukrainian manufacturer of polypropylene systems for heating and water supply, steel radiators and sewage systems.
