CMS advises EBRD on 35% investment in Ukraine industrial park project

International law firm CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang has assisted the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) on its acquisition of 35% of the shares in the Lviv M10 industrial park project in Western Ukraine, developed by Dragon Capital. This is an especially important project for Ukraine in these challenging times, which sends a strong signal to local and foreign investors.

The Lviv M10 industrial park is a modern multi-phase multi-tenant industrial park located 60 km from the Ukraine-Poland border. It will create warehouse and manufacturing space that will help the country expand access to vital services and products. Under the joint venture with Dragon Capital, EBRD is investing USD 24.5 million in the project (with the investment of USD 5.5 million in the first phase).

CMS corporate partner Graham Conlon commented: “We are delighted to have advised the EBRD on this important project for Ukraine. The EBRD plays a key role in the allocation of new funds towards projects supporting the country’s reconstruction both during the war and post-war.”

The core CMS team was led by partner Graham Conlon and Eszter Torok, with support from Tetyana Dovgan, Mariana Saienko and Ihor Pavliukov.
