Professional Experience
Tatyana Titarenko has been the managing partner of Legrant Law Company since 2015.
Previously, Tatyana held the office of the deputy director-general for legal affairs of the Employers’ Federation of Transport of Ukraine. She also worked for four years at the Ministry of Infrastructure’s legal department.
Her core specialization includes ports and terminals, investments and public-private partnership. She has vast experience of developing comprehensive strategies for the legal protection of clients’ business and assets.
Among her clients are major foreign and local shipowners, container lines, stevedoring companies, investors in a wide range of areas, grain and sunflower oil traders.
Tatyana’s significant industry expertise allows her to support complex and long-term projects. The most recent include:
- Representation of Maersk Line in the case on recovery of damages in amount of more than USD 230,000 from the SE Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
- Representation in the case on unlawful collection of payment for the organization of cargo transshipment according to the vessel-to-vessel scheme in Odesa port by SE Ukrainian Sea Ports Authority.
- Support for a large-scale project on transfer of dispatching functions of railway operations to a private company.
- Support of an infrastructure project for the construction of a grain terminal in one of Ukraine’s Azov Sea ports
- Development of a legal mechanism for guaranteed compensation of funds contributed by a group of private companies for the reconstruction of a strategic port infrastructure facility.
- In collaboration with lawyers of Clyde & Co acted as legal advisor to a foreign agro-trader in connection with financing of agricultural sale and purchase transactions in the amount of USD 40 million by one of the largest European banks.
- Protection of the interests of two clients, major stevedoring companies, in a dispute with the State Fiscal Service on cancellation of tax notifications-decisions in the amount of USD 15.2 million and USD 10.5 million.
- Support for the transactions between a well-known Maltese bank and an international agrotrader for crediting the sale of agricultural products in the amount of USD 2.5 million.
